Sawatdee Thai - Plattsburgh

Good, but a little expensive, but not crazy. 5 stars would have hit if the price was better, but what you're gonna do. I loved the Tofu Pad Thai and Veg Samosas. The interior also has a beautiful atmosphere.

The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable for vegan food. You make excellent recommendations if you are not sure what you want. Many vegan options and most noodle and rice dishes can be made egg free and sub tofu or vegetables instead of meat. I LOVE the red curry with tofu, tropical roasted rice without egg and tofu, or the drunk noodles with their vegan agitator sauce and tofu.

This place made achieve nirvana. The food is so well made and tasty. You cant go wrong with this restaurant. The drinks will appear as they show up in the menu and are a must try. I personally ordered wonton, spring roll, drunken noodles and ice tea with lychee boba

I'm not an expert on Thai food but my daughter was just over there and she thought the food was very authentic. Even though I'm not big on curry, the food is very good. A very nice change if you want something different. The prices are very reasonable. The staff is great.

Those of you who've read my reviews know that I don't hand out praise willy nilly so when I tell you that Sawatdee just made my day, you know that is high praise. The Tom Yum was spot on, the chicken satay fantastic, and the Pad Thai just hit the spot. Very reasonable pricing was icing on the cake. We will return again the next time we're in the area.
