Golden Palace - Plattsburgh

It's a Chinese buffet and the food is what you would expect. The atmosphere and scenery is very good, it's a very Chinese look with a touch of Adirondack. The service is good and the building is very clean. I have noticed the floors tend to be pretty slick most of the time around the booths, and the restroom sinks could have been built better. The food quality is top notch. I've been to a lot of buffets and I've found that the food here in the top 10. The cost to eat here is also very reasonable. If you like Chinese food and looking for a good cheap place to eat I would recommend stopping in and giving this place a shot.

Amazing food, extremely clean, and great service. We went at 2 pm expecting that the food would be not so fresh, but when you're hungry you gotta eat. The food was as fresh as it gets. The sushi was delicious. And everything was perfectly cooked :

I had heard some mixed reviews from people that had been, so we finally decided to try it for ourselves. When we arrived there were not a lot of people there at all. The hostess/waitress was very quick to greet and seat us. You can the buffet area when you first walk in. Upon first glance it looked like they had a decent assortment. Unfortunately, the assortment did not make up for the quality of the food. Everything was dried out. I did not see one fresh dish out. It all looked as though it had been left over from lunch. I'm not saying it was, just saying it looked and tasted like it. They did have a larger selection for desserts than the other buffets. Which all looked good. The only other thing I was not happy with was that the waitress came and got our glasses to refill. When she did she also grabbed the table next to us. All the drinks looked the same and I did not want to end up drinking out of a strangers glass. However, she was very nice and very prompt with everything. We gave it a shot, but unfortunately we probably won't be back.

Most Chinese buffets have food that all tastes the same.the golden palace isn't like that at all.stuffed mushrooms and shrimp were fantastic,all the foods had there own unique flavours.our server was smiling and laughing the whole time we were there,like she actually liked her job or something. I would and will recommend this place to all my friends and family...

I found this place by googling and we went there 3 years ago. It was an ok experience, staff were nice drink included, they prepared the food in a small batch each time to guarantee they are fresh. We went back last week for second visit. Place got a bit different, they did some renovation, drink are not included(just free water), we arrived at 1 pm. And all we can eat was just food that were there(on display). Some favourite menu had been empty and they did not refill it. Maybe because it was a transition time to dinner menu...I don't know..basically we were served with leftover. Not too impressed this time...
