Zenna Thai Japanese - Plano

Zenna has become one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Dallas. The Shrimp Tempura is delicious, and the Edamame is enjoyable as well. The Yakitori Chicken is average, with a teriyaki base. However, the Tom Kha Noodle Soup is outstanding. The Tornado Roll is good, and the Spicy Basil Fried Rice is superb, as is the Shrimp Red Curry. I was a bit disappointed with the Chicken Pad Thai; it could use some improvement. The Fried Ice Cream is another great reason to return. Overall, it's an awesome experience, and the staff is very nice, too!

My sister recommended this restaurant to me, and I was really impressed with the service! The sushi was incredibly fresh and tasty. Our waiter had a great sense of humor and ensure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. It was a fantastic experience, and I will definitely be coming back!

This restaurant offers a delightful combination of Thai cuisine and sushi, making it an excellent choice for a date night or a gathering with friends. There are plenty of appetizers to share, so there's something for everyone. I highly recommend trying the Heaven Beef appetizer; it's similar to jerky but juicier and incredibly flavorful. On our most recent visit, we had a group of five who can be quite particular about their meals. The unique menu options allowed everyone to find exactly what they craved, and everyone left satisfied with their choices. We will definitely return.

Service was a little slow but very good Had the Thai Peanut Chicken and it was good. I had it at level '3 ' heat and it was not hot at all!! Flavor was good though as you can see by my pic. We also had a sushi roll that for the life of us we cannot remember the entire name. Some type of a ' crunch ' roll and it was really really good.

The drink menu was good, not too much not too little. I had a ginger martini and loved it. I also ordered soup and an entree. Soup was perfect but the drunken noodle was ... Doughy? Awful. I tried it 3 times before I mentioned it to the server. She happily took it back and replaced it with a different entree that was perfect. Not much more can be asked for than that. Overall , perfect experience and I give them 5 stars for the awesome happy hour.
