We used Urban Taste for a company lunch to feed 110 people and it was a great experience! The food arrived on time and held up beautifully. We had j chicken, red pepper salmon, rice pilaf, veggies, and rolls with molasses butter (my personal fave). Our employees loved it. We will definitely be using them again in the future!

It’s too bad we never got a chance to try them out. Communication and administration are lacking. August 31 I give them all the details of my event for October 9th. Within two days I’ve solidified my menu. I asked for a tasting but they won’t give you a tasting unless it is 14 days out of the event. So I patiently wait and email them 14 days in advance of my event. Then they say they are all booked that week and now I have to solidify my menu and put down a deposit! Talk about a bait and switch or very bad administration.Either way not good for businesses who likes to plan in advance.Edited: I wanted to book the tasting and they said it was all full. NOT the event date. My dates and comments are all facts.

Are you LGBTQ friendly? They replied, we have done weddings with same sex couples before, but we are honest with the fact that we are a Christian-based company, so just fyi. The two can mutually exist, so the distinction was offputting. It gave the undertone of, we will accept your money but dont agree with your marriage. I told them their response was not very reassuring, and never heard back. Their ambiguity made it easy to move on with another caterer who gave us a clear, yes we are!
