Tacos Patron - Plano

Oh my goodness, this place looks nice with its appealing design, and the staff was very welcoming and polite. However, the food was quite disappointing. I ordered the brisket taco, and it tasted like blended tuna—definitely not what I expected. I also tried the beans and rice, but the rice seemed more like an Asian dish than anything else. For $10 and some change, it felt like the meal was only worth about 35 cents.

I've dined here a couple of times, and I can confidently say that everything is made fresh and tastes fresh as well. My only wish is that the portions were slightly larger for the price, though they are comparable to other vendors in the Hall. The meat is seasoned excellently and is truly delicious. I particularly enjoyed the brisket and pastor chicken tacos, and I'm looking forward to trying the shrimp fish tacos on my next visit. During my most recent trip, I only had chips, salsa, and guacamole, which were all quite tasty. The guacamole was a generous portion, and I received a lot of chips, but the salsa was very tomato-heavy, almost resembling spaghetti sauce with a bit of spice. It wasn’t my favorite, but I'd still order the chips and guacamole on my next visit.

Good food and friendly staff. Employee recommended the brisket and baja fish, so that's what I got. Both were really good ! Thanks !

It's an average place. I've visited three times, and the tacos haven't impressed me—they're often cold. Considering the price of $4 for a small taco, I expected more. I'd be happy to pay even $5 for tacos if they were outstanding, but these are just forgettable. On the bright side, Legacy Hall is really cool.
