Pappas Delta Blues Smokehouse - Plano

I had an amazing first experience at Delta Blues! Our waiter, Pete, was fantastic—very attentive and provided excellent customer service. The food was delicious, and the drinks were wonderful too! We ordered the BBQ, along with a banana painkiller, cherry vanilla coke, and bourbon. I loved every bit of it!

I had a fantastic dinner. The brisket was tender, flavorful, and well-seasoned. The ribs were also tender and delicious. The steak was decent but didn't live up to the steaks at Pappas Bros, which I had hoped it would. It wasn't seasoned well and the preparation lacked a proper char. I'll skip the steak on my next visit. Everything else was exceptional. Parking was also no problem.

All I can say is "WOW"! The Burger BBQ burger is a delicious blend, and I found the absolute BEST BURGER! It's a massive, flavorful creation that perfectly combines BBQ with a hamburger—it's truly impressive! I also loved the "PIT BOSS" burger. Their huge steak-cut fries are seasoned just right! My husband enjoyed his brisket plate, which comes with two sides and a roll. My son raved about his two meat combo, saying it’s incredibly tasty, and we even had leftovers! We shared the fries for dinner as well. The price and atmosphere are both outstanding! Our server, Emily, was sweet with a fantastic upbeat personality, and she was very knowledgeable, making our experience enjoyable from start to finish. We will definitely be back! This place is really amazing. Stop by for a quick bit before we saw the cowboys training camp and this place surprised me! I sat down at the bar and the bourbon and whiskey selection was amazing. I didn't plan to drink but with their selection I had a few drinks.Then they had a great deal for restaurant week where I got an appetizer and entrees for like $24 I think but close to that amount. I chose the three meat plate with pork ribs, pork belly, and brisket. I was very surprised by the ribs they were amazing followed by the brisket which was very tender. One of the other entrees was filet mignon that my buddy got and it was very good In his opinion perfectly cooked and seasoned.It was a lot of food and I wasn't able to finish it. I was a little disappointed with the cream corn but the beans made up for it.Next time I'm in Dallas I will be stopping by this place again for sure.

BBQ Brisket was exceptional, the Ribs were amazing...but the corn pudding was someone's Great, Great, Great Grandma's recipe.
