On The Border Mexican Grill Cantina

The food and service were exceptional. I would happily skip the Allen location and drive to Plano for a superior dining experience.

We enjoyed two fantastic meals! The chicken chimichanga and fajita beef enchilada were both incredibly flavorful. Our waiter was excellent—very attentive and friendly, and he managed his tables exceptionally well! The chips and salsa were, as always, perfect!

The food was good, but I noticed that the restroom had an unpleasant smell, and there was trash on the floor and around the toilet. The floor also didn't appear to have been mopped. The waiter was fine, and overall, my experience was decent.

Pretty Far Away from Mexican Food but Consistently Good. This is not the place for authentic Mexican cuisine, or even something close. It is, however, tasty. I especially appreciate the creative avocado grilled enchilada. Chips and salsa are quality and the margaritas are the perfect consistency. The manager has made a point to talk to us each time we were in, which I appreciated. Nothing fantastic, but consistently good.

Great freshly made guacamole. Awesome fajitas(steak carnitas) friendly service. Good meal with sons
