Mignon Prime Steaks Seafood Cocktails

I gave this restaurant a five-star rating because the food, service, and atmosphere were incredible. Both the owner and our server for the evening were gracious, refined, and highly professional. Every dish and wine we tried was exceptional, thanks to the recommendations from NICK, the owner, and NICK, our server. From the cocktails and wine to the amazing mussels, exquisite lamb, and delicious steak, everything was outstanding, including the remarkable date cake made from the owner's grandmother's recipe. It was the perfect dinner for my husband's birthday! Thank you, NICK and NICK, for providing such a wonderful experience! I highly recommend MIGNON for an amazing dinner! P.S. Be sure to try the mussels and date cake, and ask for NICK, the server—he's phenomenal!

This restaurant is fantastic! The entire experience, from the attentive waitstaff to our server, was exceptional. We were even visited by the actual owner who came to check on our satisfaction with the meals. I absolutely loved it and had a great time. I ordered the Prime Filet Deux, which was incredibly delicious and tender—simply magnificent. My date had the Pan-Roasted Chilean Sea Bass, and it was the most amazing meal we’ve ever shared: tender, juicy, and absolutely delightful. This place is definitely a must-visit for fine dining—a solid 10/10!

One of my favorite fine dining restaurants in the Plano area. The rack of lamb and filet mignon are exquisite, and the lobster macaroni and cheese is cooked to perfection. It's a great spot for celebrating special occasions, as it's definitely on the pricey side. However, the mashed potatoes tasted like they came from a package, which was a letdown. I also feel that the drinks are a bit overpriced. I agree with another reviewer—it's not exactly a budget-friendly place. We ended up spending around $100 per person before tips.

The food was very high quality. I had the salmon and it was very good. Everything seemed overpriced just for the sake of creating a fancy atmosphere. You'll enjoy your meal but really you can get something similar at other restaurants for half the price.

Terrific long standing restaurant that?s been here for 20 years. Legendary French style menu with emphasis on steak. The mussels were amazing as well as the filet au pouvre. Beef Wellington feature needs more flavor.
