Dippin' Dots - Plano

This is a lovely mall that I've been visiting since childhood, and every time I step inside, it fills me with nostalgia. Built in the early 1980s, it has a distinct Vaporwave aesthetic that I find incredibly appealing. I truly hope this mall remains for many years to come.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. It's a well-frequented location for Collin College students, so you'll often see them around. The parking lot is easy to navigate; just make sure to remember which building number you entered. The interior is quite striking, and the customers are generally well-dressed. They even have a few cars on display for added visual interest. Overall, I truly enjoy this place!

The mall isn't busy, and it's tidy and well-arranged, offering great deals and discounts at every store. You should definitely pay a visit!

Many visitors have been predicting the failure of Collin Creek for years. I remember when the mall was supposedly 'on its way out ' back in 2008. Tremendous growth in the area and especially adjacent to 75 is sure to kick-start a revival of this aging mall. While Collin Creek isn 't as fabulous as some newer malls, it still has a good selection of stores. Location is excellent as well.

One highlight of the mall is the Encore Shoe Department, which is worth the visit in itself. It’s a spacious store with excellent prices and a good selection. It’s also a fantastic place for mall walking since it’s not overly crowded, allowing for a more pleasant experience where people actually engage in conversation. Additionally, I appreciate the presence of mall security which adds to the feeling of safety. There's a children's playground that is great for kids, although it can get quite loud right underneath the food court, making it challenging to enjoy a meal there due to the sounds of excited children. While there are some smaller empty retail spaces, I suspect the high rental rates due to the mall’s central location may be a barrier for those smaller businesses. Despite that, there are plenty of well-established medium to large stores, including unique shops like the Texas store, which specializes in Texas-themed items. I’ve been visiting this mall for many years and plan to continue doing so. It feels familiar with so many familiar faces there. Charly's Subs in the food court is also quite tasty. Overall, it’s a great place to shop and spend time!
