Surprisingly good breakfast With a name like "California Kitchen" I wasn't expecting such a Mexican slant to the menu, but I liked it.

The food here was ok - just okMy wife had pancakes and said the batter was a day old, and the maple syrup fakeI had mole huevos rancheros.

Happy Father's Day! Today isn't fathers day? Well I went here with my pops and we got ourselves some breakfast food.

Very cozy breakfast place. The food was very fresh and very tasty. Service was excellent with very friendly and polite waiter and waitress. Mimosas and **** Marys are very good. Decor is indicative of old Hangtown and the Gold Rush era with weathered brick in the bar area. Full bar on site. I'm here three times and I wasn't disappointed! Definitely worth the money, not very expensive, 10 to 18 dollars per record. $7 mimosas and **** Marys. Best place to breakfast in Placerville aka Hangtown. Open 7 to 3 and eat.

Breakfast was delicious. Good coffee. Fantastic service and friendly staff. Fast service. Don't be too excited about the Sicker pancake, it's just chocolate chip! The hotel is located in a nice city and good place to stop when you are on SR 50.
