I hadn't skied Alpine Meadows in years. I bought a Ikon pass after Mt Rose closed for the year. But since Mother Nature just gave us six to eight at Alpine, I pulled the trigger on a 23/24 Ikon pass and ran up to Alpine Meadows today. What a great time I had, this late in the season I'm skiing untracked powder in the back bowls. It was like a dream, I did stop for lunch about 11:30, great lodge, huge facility plenty of seating in and outside. Great burger. The staff was next level friendly and welcoming, Made for a enjoyable first day back. The mountain itself is everything, for whatever level you are. Look forward to exploring it all. Couldn't be happier with the decision to buy the Ikon.

Removed once .... The food service manager is a complete jerk.Condescending,angry ,mean ,inappropriate....shall I go on.He's doing us all a favor to do anything. Give me a break! It's Call customer service for a reason. Thanks a lot!

Staff are amazing, helpful and smiley. But clearly not trusted by the owner/establishment as this place does not accept cash. However cash tips are fine... ?‍ ?Remember to use your Ikon lift pass for a discount.

Base to base gondola is working! Finally. Just hope it lasts. Found myself solo at Palisades with a very short line to the brand new (relatively speaking) gondola. The ride over is relaxing. Very quiet and scenic. First stop from Palisades you can get out and ski down. I wanted to go to the Alpine part of this resort so I kept on going. It seemed a bit more relaxed. Not saying it was because I think it'll be silly busy over the MLK weekend. Pretty convenient to go from one resort to the next without hopping in to a car. Will def. try this place out more just because access is easier. Only problem so far is that my locker (ahem, car... the former Squaw side) that had my lunch in it was kinda far. The gondola ride takes ~16 min supposedly. Didn't time it.
