Oishi - Placentia

This restaurant is truly the best sushi spot in the area. As a huge sushi enthusiast, I tried various places when I moved here to find the best options. After visiting this one, I stopped my search. The prices are fantastic, the food is fresh, and there's a great variety of special rolls, plus they offer an all-you-can-eat option! The chefs and staff are all incredibly friendly as well. I highly recommend it!

The restaurant is conveniently located in Novi, with ample parking and a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food is quite mediocre. I ordered the chicken and rice combo, which is similar to what my friend had. While the quality wasn’t terrible, there are definitely better options for Japanese cuisine available nearby. The combo was reasonably priced at around $13 for ramen, rice bowls, and salads, and the portion sizes are generous. The service was rather lackluster and could use improvement. Surprisingly, since there weren't many customers, our food arrived quickly. Overall, it was decent for the price. If you’re in search of great food, this isn’t the place for you. However, if you’re looking for affordable, acceptable food, it could be a suitable option.

The staff here are incredibly friendly! I've been here several times with friends, and we've always enjoyed some excellent sushi. Having worked as a concierge in the past, I tend to be a bit more critical, but this place truly stands out. I highly recommend the all-you-can-eat option and the OMG Roll.

All you can eat is extensive and delicious. More than worth the price! Her special lemon love is also amazing. This is my new sushi spot!

Service is slow if it's busy during lunch but if you sit at the bar, it's not so bad. Sushi is amazing. Up there with some of the best.
