Nice, cozy, and homely feeling place. The food they serve can be authentic, and thus, it might come across as bland. But you can ask for some sauces and add some more flavor. In cold appetizers, we tried their potato salad, spicy eggplant, and hummus. The potato salad was okayish. The spicy eggplant was better but could have more spice, hummus was nice but not anything different. They also served hot appetizers, and we tried their. They don't have many entree options tbh. We tried cigarette bored, and it wasn't anything else but feta cheese spring rolls. These were nice but salty. Their pita was really freshly baked and light. We tried their falafel platter, and those falafel were really delicious. Even the zucchini fritters that came with it were nice and light. I wish there were more sauces in this dish. This plate felt a little too dry to me. In desserts, we had their Kazandibi, and it was the best dish of the night! We literally cleaned the entire plate in seconds . This place is a nice option for mediterranean food, but hopefully, they add more flavor and sauces to their dishes, but their desserts are too good. It might feel it's a bit pricy for this area and the place, but it's worth visiting once.
Wonderful service, warm atmosphere, high quality food. Thank you.
Great place to have lunch. The Mediterranean food was spot on and the outdoor lounging area is done up well. The four of us shared a Lamb mixed grill, zuchinni and falafel and an arugula salad. We also had rice and bread included on the side. The selection of drinks is limited and I don't think they serve alcohol. There seemed to be only one person attending to customers on Saturday afternoon so service was a bit slow, but the food was worth the wait! Vegetarian options: My vegan mother enjoyed the arugula and orange salad and the zucchini and falafel with pita bread and hummus
The best items we had were their desserts including the kunefe and kazandibi (a must try if you like custard style desserts). They are a little on the more expensive side with smaller portion sizes such that each person needs their own entree. The most disappointing and unbelievable thing was that they didn't have any pita! We ordered the mix appetizer (mezze) and they didn't inform us beforehand but when it came out they said they can't make any pita. The appetizer was on the house but the lack of pita was very unexpected. The ground chicken items were on the drier side while the chops were juicier. They closed their kitchen at 8 even though the restaurant only closes at 10 which was very inconvenient. Overall I think there are much better Mediterranean places which offer bigger portions and even better cold appetizers such as in Turkish Kebab House if you don't mind the simpler casual ambiance. Probably won't choose this restaurant again.
