Joe Pie Cafe Pizzeria - Pittsburgh

I like this shop than the others. They also have milkshakes and I had strawberry which was very good. The pizza slices are great and more available more often than the other shop nearby. I had a regular side salad and was packaged well and fresh. I'm sure other food items are great which I will try next time, I'm just a pizza lover.

Fast and efficient. Great food. Easy place to stop for a quick bite or grab and go.

I had a great experience! They offer free Coke refills, which is a nice touch. The pepperoni slice was delicious—though I admit I added a little too much pepper because I love it spicy. The interior design was unique and created a nice atmosphere where I could relax and enjoy my meal while listening to good music. I only waited a minute or two before a staff member came to take my order, which wasn't as long as some reviews suggested. I'll definitely be returning! Next time, I'm excited to try their chicken Quesadilla wrap made with a tomato basil wrap. (I took a bite of the pizza slice before writing this review, so I cropped the photo.)

I tried the Margherita pizza while my wife opted for the calzone. The dough was fantastic, and the sauce was quite tasty; we really enjoyed our meals. However, I did notice that the person taking orders appeared a bit unkempt and not very clean. Fortunately, we could see into the kitchen, and the cooks looked tidy, and the kitchen was well-organized, so we decided to stay. I'm glad we did! We'll definitely return if we're in Pittsburgh again.

The cheesesteak and onion rings were fantastic! The portions were generous, and the onion rings were perfectly crispy—exactly what I was craving. They remained crispy even after delivery, with no sogginess at all.
