Jerome Bettis' Grille 36 - Pittsburgh

Missing my JB36 Fam and fans!!!! Heard that it's coming back, but pretty sure that the rumors are.. It would be an epic thief!

I was afraid of waiting for this place. You do not accept reservations. There was already a bad start with the host giving wrong...

I visit this restaurant for both lunch and dinner, and each time my experience improves. The customer service is excellent, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is fantastic.

I visited this restaurant for the second time on Monday, with my first visit being on my birthday, November 8th. To my surprise, the same waiter was there, and I was amazed that he remembered me. I ordered the Pan Fried Chicken on both occasions, and I must say, our waiter's recommendations for special sauces were a delightful treat for our taste buds! The prices are very reasonable, and the staff creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Although my child has grown, this place still feels very much like a family-friendly environment. After I settled the bill, I had a great conversation with our waiter about Jerome's memoir, discussing his career both on and off the field. I even mentioned that the company I used to work for bought his Rookie Tour Bus. This restaurant is now my go-to spot the day after a game before heading back to Columbus. Keep up the excellent work, and I look forward to seeing you again next year!

We all ordered our meals, which arrived hot and fresh. However, we were disappointed with two of the items. The Hall of Fame Burger appeared overcooked and resembled a frozen patty, resulting in it being quite dry and not living up to the flavorful description. On the other hand, the other burgers were delicious and juicy, just as expected. I ordered ranch dressing on the side; while it looked a bit watery, it had a good taste. The presentation of the Asian fire brigades was absolutely stunning, and they reportedly tasted fantastic. Our friends mentioned that you could see through a mirror in the bathroom from the bar, and when I checked, they were right! That was quite amusing. Overall, I would definitely return to try something else on the menu.
