Tazza D'oro - Pittsburgh

My co worker and I stopped this morning before work. Not a great experience, the barista waiting on us was rude, no personality. The coffee was average too, nothing to write home about. Honestly I get better service at Starbucks. My mother and I stopped several years ago and we had the same experience. I was hoping this place had changed but doesn’t seem to be the case. Also I think they only really are nice and accommodating to the regular customers there. We will take our business elsewhere.

Met a friend there. Got dessert and it was delicious along with a large coffee. Loved the atmosphere and the service was excellent. Now I know what my friend raved about. All very good words.

Its a nice cafe don’t get me wrong, but nothing really stood out for me. The space is large and bright but somewhat boring. The are a bunch of wooden benches and chairs both indoors and outdoors where you can enjoy the sun. There is free wifi so you can work from there. It was pretty busy on a Tuesday afternoon but the service was quick. Both the baristas were really sweet and welcoming. I ordered the matcha latte and it was pretty good. The barista whisked the matcha in front of me and I asked it to sweetened with honey and they happily agreed. I only wish, they had proper mugs for people having drinks in the cafe instead of serving everyone in disposable mugs.

Friendly, safe, inviting space for creatives, housed similarly fast, friendly, and skillful baristas. A lovely place to be

I ordered a double espresso and received wonderful service with a relaxed smile. The vibe is pretty relaxed, but the coffee is not good. The espresso was overly bitter and sour in its flavor. It suffices for coffee, but the heart of good coffee is the flavor when it has nothing to hide behind. I recommend trying some other place for espresso.
