Commonplace Coffee - Pittsburgh

I finally discovered an amazing coffee shop in Pittsburgh! No offense to the East Coast, but coming from LA, I’m used to some fantastic coffee spots. I had been on the hunt for a good cortado in Pittsburgh, and I found it here. The baristas are consistently friendly and welcoming, and the indoor atmosphere has a calming vibe. Food: 5/5.

Here’s a summary of my last seven visits. On two occasions, they simply put a sign on the door stating they would close at 1 PM instead of their usual 6 PM. I’ve ordered a large drink twice, and both times it was only filled to about 70%. Once, I ordered four large drinks but ended up with four small ones, while still being charged for the large sizes. Overall, I have no complaints when I actually receive what I ordered and paid for, but unfortunately, that doesn't happen very often.

Nice little coffee spot. The barista was kind and helpful with recommendations. Atmosphere was relaxed and quiet, perfect for doing some casual work for a few hours. We only got drinks, so I can't comment on the food, but what was on display looked good!

My go-to coffee shop in Pittsburgh. Pairs high caliber espresso with a staff who genuinely cares about their customers and community. Highly recommend.
