The food overall was enjoyable, except for the fried green tomatoes, which tasted like they were previously frozen and simply reheated. I ended up sending them back. Given the prices, I expected at least two pieces of catfish. The salmon was tasty, but it could have used a bit more flavor. The yams, greens, and mac and cheese were definitely the highlights of the meal. The cornbread was wonderfully cake-like—just perfect. I also appreciated the artwork displayed throughout the restaurant. The two staff members I interacted with were very helpful and focused on customer service.

We ordered a large variety of dishes during our visit, and we were absolutely thrilled. Everything we tried at this restaurant was delicious. Each dish and side was packed with flavor. I can't wait to return! If you enjoy spicy or Cajun cuisine, don't miss out on this place—it will amaze you!

The food absolutely hard. Let?s start with the wait. It took us over an hour to get food. Ain?t nothing soul about this food. Catfish fried so hard you couldn?t even taste fish. Mac and cheese taste old. The greens taste like they pour sugar on them andserved them. My tip is do better.

Fantastic spot with a wonderful atmosphere. The food was absolutely delightful. I do wish the portion sizes were a bit larger, but I suppose I can be a bit greedy! The hostess was excellent as well. We visited on a Friday night early in the evening, but just a heads-up – it’s located on East Carson Street, so parking might be a bit tricky.

Stopped in for brunch and was amazed. I don?t see why more people weren?t dining in. Tried the shrimp and grits, and it was some of the best I?ve had. Cheesy goodness and a huge portion. Mouth is watering just thinking about it. Mac and cheese and catfishlooked amazing. The only complaint was it seems it took the food a while to come out, but it was so worth the wait.
