Contribuiți la feedbackReally didn't care for most of the food but that's mostly because I don't care for fennel or capers. The service was pretty slow for only entrees our whole visit was about 90 minutes. In terms of the restaurant it had few tables but the space is small so itfelt cramped and the music didn't fit the vibe of the cuisine or setting.
We recently had the pleasure of hosting a party at Cafe Du Jour, and it was beyond our expectations! Paul is a true talent and a master of the kitchen. The staff is kind and hard working with expert knowledge of entertaining. Our guests felt welcome and athome in the charming environment. If you enjoy authentic French food, this is the spot!
Amazing food at reasonable prices and great service in an intimate setting. As covid cautious diners we love the patio; the fountain and greenery make it a pleasant place and there are heaters for chilly weather. ~3 two tops are covered if it rains. This time I got the chicken confit and my wife got the eggplant. Both of us loved our entrees, but the starters and side disheswere possibly even better. The smashed potato and charred broccoli are to die for, the meatballs are delectable, the spinach dipdivine, the watermelon feta salad has me trying to replicate it at home ? even the coffee was good. Still thinking about allof it days later. Make a reservation and support these skilled, kind folks, you won't regret it!
Veggie meals that are made to order. Great little patio that was quite intimate.
Brett was really nice and since was visiting Pittsburgh for a show and got there early when it got close the doors to open was let in first one and the venue has one of atmospheres that I have experienced. The bartender Brian was right on time even thoughI had to cut myself off before the show started talked heavy metal bands before other people started coming in. Thank you Brettand Brian and the band Humbird for an incredible evening hope to come back.
