Bull River Taco - Pittsburgh

I can’t begin to explain how terrible the food was. Damn sad Total waste of money and what I ate was far from what tacos are. Argh, save your time and money and skip this location. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

So disappointed with the food and service today. I ordered two vegetable tacos with no cheese and bullseye sauce. When I called I told them I would be there in 10 minutes. It took me 11 minutes. There was bullseye sauce on both and both tacos were so soggy you could not pick them up. I called and the girl that prepared them said she didn’t put the sauce on but I could bring them back and she can take it off. Not I can make new tacos but I can take it off. This was my place to go but sadly now it’s not.

The quality has declined over the last few years. I miss their old chips. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20

Part 1 About the Place: Bull River Taco's location just off the highway is convenient, but the small parking lot can be a challenge during busy times. The restaurant was surprisingly empty when I visited, which created an odd atmosphere. Part 2 About the Food: When it came to the tacos, I had high hopes, but they fell short. The pork taco was disappointingly dry, lacking the succulence you'd expect. The spicy beef taco was passable, nothing more, while the chicken taco was outright unappetizing. It's a shame that none of the tacos lived up to expectations. Additionally, the homemade sauce had a strong vinegar taste, overpowering the delicate flavors of the fillings. A missed opportunity for a great meal.
