Altius - Pittsburgh

Food was outstanding! Once the restaurant became packed our server wasn’t as attentive but luckily that was after we ordered and she had already explained various selections and helped us choose a fantastic wine.

The food and the service were both excellent. the personal was appropriately attentive and treated us as if we were frequent quests and not just someone who came for a special occasion. altius is too pricy for my budget to qualify as eating every day. but if they have an opportunity, a splurge worth, altius is a good choice and they will not come away feel them overpaid.

Large huge windows, good view from everywhere. salmon and duck was delicious, scallop highly recommended also. bartenders made great cocktails. few free small fix-ins were a nice note.
