Alexander's Italian Bistro - Pittsburgh

We sat on the terrace, the ambiente drowned the passing cars. I got an oversized glass wee and the server was ready to make us cocktails that were not on the menu - she was attentive in us investing in enjoying our meal. they answered a lot asking about the menu omg that was eating was dying. I got the homemade pasta the dish reminded me of my recent trip to italia. Although I had not been able to dessert, I couldn't turn it off, and it was also delicious. I live out of town, but would eat the 3.5-hour drive to Alexanders again!

Very delicious! the brot was amazing. I ordered the chicken stable and asked for the marfredo sauce. it was great. my fiancée got tortellini and enjoyed it very much. we come back!< br/>Sat outside and listen to music. for a perfect evening.

Didn't start off well given two dirty plates and dirty napkin; then a replacement plate was ALSO dirty. But having survived that, my dinner salad was terrific made special with candied walnuts and cranberries. Their build your own pasta' has great selections. I had fusilli with red pepper sauce and Italian sausage. My wife had angel hair with white clam sauce which was respectable. My son had the fried calamari with pasta the steam from the pasta took off the breading but it tasted good.

I called Alexander's last night at 10:45 a.m. because my man was admitted to the shadyside hospital and we were there from 17 a.m., so we had no dinner. I was looking for a place to get a take-out and even though they were done, serve and the chef was gone, the one I spoke with (maybe the owner) offered me to make salat so that we would have something. he also tried to make some suggestions of places that could still serve. we at Alexander’s have eaten a few times, but we are certainly not regular customers, and he did not know that anyway, so he had no reason to go out of his. the person I spoke to (owner or not) was a really decent person. if he's a hired man, he'll hang on and if he's the owner, he deserves alexander's continuing success.

Great Italian cuisine! in recent years has become our favorite Italian restaurant. the personal is always warm, efficient and friendly; eating delicious, the menu is accurate, and the ambiente quite pleasant. even if Alexanders is overcrowded, which is common, the service is timely and timely.
