John's Italian Pizza - Pittsboro

I went to this restaurant last night. It was very busy and there was a long wait, but it was worth it because the pizza was the best I've ever had. I will definitely be coming back again. Thank you.

Our experience at this restaurant was not good. The food lacked flavor, particularly the fried calamari which looked more like clam strips and were heavily battered instead of being breaded and seasoned. They were served with ranch dressing, which was odd. The salads seemed to be frozen. My eggplant rollatini tasted spoiled, so I ended up ordering a plain slice of pizza which also lacked flavor and was limp. The rest of my group of four also found their food to be tasteless. The only positive note was the very friendly young lady who served us.

The restaurant staff do not consistently wear masks, both outside and inside the establishment. The food quality is not the best and the service can be rude.

Pasta floating in thick water on top. I have shrimp sampling, as if they have lipton chicken noodle soup on the pasta. garnelen was overcooked. service was good.

We have ordered from John’s many time, and we have always had a great experience. Their pizzas are always amazing, and our friends from out of town have also commented on how amazing their pizza and other dishes are! That’s huge! Especially since some of these friends are from places considered pizza meccas! We’ve also dined at John’s and we love the great service and the cozy, down-to-earth atmosphere i the restaurant. It’s always clean and well kept. We enthusiastically recommend John’s and thank them for being willing to delivering to us in Moncure!
