Dia De Los Burritos - Pitman

That's my third time here, and they really have the veggie burrito. went with all vegan options, sans gurke and paprika, level 3 hot sauce. huge burrito, no farewell to taste. collect me flashbacks to veggie burritos in socal. edit: if they add kartoffels to the menu, the extra groovy updated from the previous review on 2022-07-02

This place has a large vegan burrito, they are the biggest burritos ever haha. not crazy about their vegan tacos, but this is personal preference.

I appreciate the selected vegan options. the vegan tacos were not well seasoned. they also fell apart because there was too much liquid from the (beans?) corn tortillas should be cooked to take the raw mais taste. would go back for the chips and guacamole, but would not order the tacos again.

I got the vegan tacos and they were not bad, they were easy. there was nothing to complain about (at least: they were super messy, pack some serviettes) but also nothing to rave over either.

If you're from Pitman then you already know about Dia De Los Burritos. It's a favorite of the locals, and for good reason. I live in town and stop here often myself because it's convenient, quick, and reasonably priced, and the food is fresh and good quality. If you get a burrito or bowl, they have little clipboards with papers where you check off everything you want to go in it, so you get exactly what you want. The BBQ seitan is vegan and pretty good with rice, beans and all the fixings (including freshly made salsa and chips). Portions are large, you definitely won't leave hungry. The staff is great and the place has a fun vibe with neon Muertos decor and a large selfie-friendly cactus statue in the back corner. Overall, a great neighborhood burrito joint, worth a stop if you're in town.
