Fantastic family restaurant. I have eaten frito misto all over Italy and that was by far the best I ever had. linguine con vongole was also the best, fresh and full of taste. the owners are charming and welcoming. the interieur is modern and comfortable. very good...used

Small family-run recreational fish/seafood restaurant with people who care about the good and their guests. fresh fish every day, carefully prepared, artistically presented. the best frito misto (they call it something else) I've ever had. the best linguine con vongole my man had ever....Reasonable price. the hotel is located outside the centro, right next to a large parking lot. highly recommended!

I was looking for a simple place to grab some lunch and I found Barage 38 by pure serendipity, just where I parked my car. It looked enticing from the outiside, clean and newly furnished. I was not wrong. Though it's a small eatery, Jacopo,...the young chef, looked super professional in the open view (spick and span) kitchen. My salmon salad was very good. Excellent cost per value rate!

We stopped at Barrage 38 and had lunch there. It was very good! We had the octopus salad (really yummi and very well cooked : crispy outside and tender inside with great seasoning and fresh fruits). Then we had the risotto with green beans. So...good too, creamy and tasty! It was fabulous and not too expensive! Great job guys!!! We’ll come back to Pistoia one day and we hope you’ll still be cooking then!
