Friendly service, great atmosphere, decent prices, good food! their fish tacos are amazing! I'll go back every time I'm in pismo! the waitress even brought us tooth-picked without asking for them!

I use to go to this Sports Bar 2 years ago. I then moved out of state. I returned to CA and returned to Scotty's to watch the Rams play on Sunday. I brought a friend whom I wanted to introduce the cool atmosphere of Scotty's to. I was very pleased to say they have kept the same standards of service, food drinks and friendliness. It's nice to see nothing has changed.

It seems to be a local favorite, but walking in, seeing the grill on the right, bar on the left and not knowing the drill, I didn 't know if we were getting menus, cocktail service or what? We never saw a menu or anything regarding food, so we only had drinks. Service, from the one entirely swamped bartender was excellent, but the poor girl was killing herself trying to serve A LOT of customers. It was Presidents day weekend and every place for miles had lines to get in, so Scotty 's might have considered staffing up a little differently. The bartender was overwhelmed, yet two cooks seemed to have nothing to do??? I know how the restaurant business works and know demand can change in a millisecond, so I 'll reserve my 4th and 5th stars until I can try them again, when conditions are closer to normal...
