Pizzeria L'arancio - PISA

I got the Hip Hop sandwich and my partner got the Swing sandwich for lunch which we were both extremely satisfied with. Great value for money and the portion size was really big we were both so full after (and my partner is a massive eater! . I feel like calling them sandwich’s undersells them almost. The man serving us was extremely helpful explaining the menu and you could tell he cared about your dining experience. They had an English menu available both printed and on a QR code and there was free wifi available, the password was on the menu. The ‘coperto’ (English translation meaning ‘charged’ which is a fee all restaurants and cafes in Italy charge to dine in was only €1 each which was very reasonable considering most places have been between €2-€4 each. It ended up being €12 and €13 each (with the coperto which we thought was very reasonable for the quality of food we received. Would highly recommend this place.

Visited this very cost place situated in a side street with full shade, so the temperature was perfect despite +35 in Pisa. Ordered 3 pizza, water and 2 beer and paid less than 35 EUR!! The pizza was amazing the best so far in Italy, and the waiters were kind, smiling and fast but still relaxed (many places they seem stressed) Worth a visit.

We went for dinner and opted to sit indoors in the second room. The staff that greeted us was very friendly and switched on the AC immediately. Our order was taken quickly and it didn’t take long to bring the food. I had the prosciutto with tomatoes, mozzarella and salad which was absolutely yummy. The prices were very reasonable. The place is very clean, including the toilet which is a key point for me wherever I go. We enjoyed our dinner and would recommend the place to everyone! Grazie!

Very good pizza. We especially liked the dough. Try one with Pecorino cheese!

My life is forever changed. I have now tasted pizza in Pisa and I will never look back. This pizza made me happy enough that I never have to eat pizza again. Far and away the best pizza I’ve had in the last 20 years. Margherita and Speciale (smoked ham and cheeses) were both perfection.
