Contribuiți la feedbackBland. Ordered a pina coloda -excellent, glass of Chianti, I’ve never had a bitter Chianti until now. Cous cous- only spice was salt…really bland and the bolognese lasagna was profoundly underwhelming. Bland baby food lasagna. Very disappointing being that we are sitting in peace Emily eating the worst Italian food on the planet.
Looked nice on the edge of the gardens, that was the good bit, from there down hill, waitress wasn’t interested, we ordered 2 focaccias and drinks, received 2 toasted sandwiches, bread was the worst I’ve ever had and fillings were tasteless. Aperol served in a beaker, weak and not convinced contained the correct mix and wanted €8. I’d paid €5/6 all week until today. We wanted a bar/cafe to sit in for a couple of hours with more drinks however this was so poor we left immediately having left half our food as inedible. Cross the square and try the other restaurants, don’t stop here
Found this little place last year and we returned twice this year, just a short walk from the train station. Great for whiling away an hour whilst waiting for a train or before getting a taxi to the airport. Beers and nibbles are great. Service was fast friendly and efficient.
On a recent family trip to Pisa we stumbled across this restaurant following a day trip returning to Pisa Centrale. Located in a pretty square 5mins walk from the station we were seated quickly. I opted for pasta arrabiata which arrived quickly and was a reasonable portion and was very nice. Prices were comparable with similar places nearby. So nice it was we returned again at the end of our trip due its location and pleasant service. The food was solid if unspectacular but a reasonable portion and friendly staff.
Great location, close to parking and shops. good breakfast, kindness and friendliness
