Il Mescitino - PISA

Very good pizza from wooden stove. One of best I eaten in Pisa. Recommend to drop in if you don’t need restaurant to eat. Decent prices.

Nice few seats on a residential-seeming square, quiet and relaxed apart from the pigeons. We had a bit of lunch here and the food was ok, not great, but when we went into the toilet, it put me off the whole place. No seat, no toilet paper, no soap, not clean. If hygiene matters to you, go somewhere else. I hate to say anything bad as the guy serving was really nice but I regret stopping here.

Stumbled on this piazza after wandering round Pisa for a while. Great value, and a friendly buzzy vibe on a Sunday night. Don't settle for second best up near the Tower, come down here and enjoy yourselves.
