Del Porta Cristina - PISA

We stopped for a late lunch one afternoon not entirely by choice but some places were closed and others did not seem attractive. or we weren't into snacks we wanted a good lunch. And we got it decent service, good prices and very tasty food which cam quite quickly and was well presented. We had two different prices really delicious a vegetarian salad, and an anchovy said plus drinks, of course. All good and we left feeling pleased with ourselves and the Cristina. Especially since it was warm day, the square was not too busy but watching the world go by was an enjoyment :

We were looking for another restaurant near by ,but it was shut and so we used what most people do and looked for a bust restaurant , how wrong we were Ordered the prawns with lemon and pepper and most prawns still has the intestines in , the white wine was not chilled and the staff could not care less There are far nicer places for your custom

Great snacks, cakes and gelati. Tables outside in the square, overlooking the ruins of the Temple of Apollo, so great for a sit down to watch the ebb and flow of the crowds.
