Cecco Rivolta - PISA

Best wine bar in Pisa and a $2 all you can eat buffet of amazing food when your drinking! Get there when they open and have the place to yourself. Has inside and out seating too!

Good place for aperitvo. We enjoyed a couple of Asperol spritzs here in the evening before going to dinner. Definitely the best bar in the lively square. The staff were very friendly.

If you need to chill out with a glass of wine, a beer or a gin tonic you cannot miss Cecco Rivolta, a tiny and cosy place in Piazza delle Vettovaglie, in the heart of Pisa. At Cecco Rivolta you can find a very wide selection of wines from Italy and France (especially by small vignerons) with some pearls hidden in the list, and a very remarkable choice of champagne. Cecco Rivolta is mainly a wine bar but you can also find good beers (from microbreweries), spirits (great rums) and difficult to beat cocktails (try one of the gin tonic). You can accompanying you drinks with home-made appetizers, cold food and sandwiches: the ingredients are of very high quality and often typical from Tuscany; in particular, the tartara is really delicious. Last but not least, the owners are very kind and helpful with tasting suggestions. Prices are adequate to the uncommon quality you find.
