There are no comparisons! from augoto is a good glass combined with a delicious dish, all of extreme quality. no product dozen only Italian and foreign excellence for both wine and food. My favorite in town
This small Bistro is off the main Tourist path. Lovely local setting in the narrow streets of Pisa. Lovely selection of wine and appetizers. Nice quiet area to people watch.
Interesting little bistro we came across by chance having failed to find a table at two other restaurants in the area. Appears to be run by a husband and wife team – but I may be wrong! The menus all hand written – which makes it a challenge not just to understand the Italian but also to decipher the names of the dishes, and the ingredients. It suggests the menu changes daily depending on what ingredients are available. Bottom line is the menu offers honest, unpretentious Italian cooking with a twist. Our starter was wafer-thin cannelloni stuffed with a selection of smoked fish and dressed with chopped tomato and peppers. The main course was quail cooked in a stew with raisins, tomato and onions. Again, very tasty. Our dessert was a return to an Italian classic – tiramisu. Creamy and smooth. Definitely worth a visit if you want something a little bit different from a pizzeria or spaghetteria.
