When I go to restaurants that try to leave behind the old way of eating, I always want to be as negative as possible in my opinion, thinking that when it comes to research it takes time and attempts. For this reason I did not complain either about the many shortcomings compared to what was written on the menu, nor when 1 of the 3 tartares was brought to me with a different seasoning than the one announced, nor about the exaggerated flavor of another of the 3 tartares nor for the lack of ingredients and allergens written on the menu (isn 't this even against the law? . I recommend, still regarding the tartare, to clean the starting piece of meat better from the sinews. Having passed over these problems, the moment of dessert arrives. Seeing the wording Tuscan tiramisu , intrigued, I ask what the difference is with the classic one and I am told that the difference lies ONLY in the use of cantucci instead of ladyfingers. This is not the case, and the wrong dessert is brought to me, even on a technical level. To allow the cantucci to be eaten with a spoon, they are immersed in too large a quantity of coffee (moreover hot and for too long; the biscuit base only tastes like coffee which isn 't even sweetened...inedible! Furthermore, the arrangement in the glass is wrong because even if you want to attenuate the flavor of the coffee with the cream it is impossible as it is not possible to reach the bottom of the glass with a single spoonful. We come to the cream: it is not the classic tiramisu cream, but it tastes disproportionately of cream and vanilla. The taste is rather closer to a diplomatic cream halfway with a pudding. The problem would not arise in such an annoying way if it were not for the fact that the question had been CLEARLY asked to the young lady who was in charge of the service. We sent back the two tiramisu and were told curtly that it depends on your taste . At the time of the bill, the two tiramisu are included entirely in the bill... right or wrong I don 't care, what really needs to be changed is the attitude guys! Reading the other negative reviews left and the answers given by this Matteo, I seem to understand that responding not objectively and bringing grist to one 's mill without leaving room for doubt that every now and then the customer might be right is precisely the restaurant 's policy. It 's a shame for us two customers who didn 't have a pleasant experience and for you restaurant workers because you will never make big improvements by not working on the criticisms leveled at you... we all lost out. Was met by friendly and kind staff right upon entering the establishment. Was seated and received a menu, water, and bread super quickly. The staff also had a good understanding of wine and was helpful with choosing the best for our meal. The food (we got two different kinds of pasta) was really really great. We have been driving around Italy for a while already and this pasta really made us feel like we were truly enjoying what the country has to offer. The atmosphere was quiet and calm during our lunchtime meal. Dessert was also incredibly good, especially the tiramisu. The place seems little from the outside but really has a lot of great things to offer once you enter. Highly recommend. Place with an intimate and quiet atmosphere. We tried two first courses: both were quite good, with not too large portions. Unfortunately the waitress, although kind and quick in serving the dishes, was not very present. All in all, a pleasant but not exceptional lunch.
