In Piran there is a wide range of restaurants, with many similar dishes on the menu. Pirate is no different in this. The quality of the food served is good and tasty. The staff are friendly. This makes it a busy, if not restless, restaurant with a lot of visitors and turnover. If you want a quiet evening dining, I will advise against Pirat.
