I had a fantastic breakfast in a lovely setting, and the service was excellent. I will definitely return!

When we had the New York Steak dinner, we didn’t receive the warm rolls with butter that the menu promised. My steak and potatoes were cold, while my husband’s meal was only lukewarm. The steaks were mostly gristle and tough, and the salads, sandwiches, and other items we tried seemed to rely on pre-packaged ingredients, lacking freshness. While I understand that many places are facing staffing shortages, we were patient; however, the long wait for food that arrived cold is simply unacceptable. After years of working in the food industry and exploring local dining options in the Amador and Calaveras areas, this is perhaps the most disappointing spot I’ve encountered. We didn’t expect gourmet meals, but we did expect our food to be warm, which it wasn’t. The salads, appetizers, and other dishes felt frozen and mass-produced. This restaurant has immense potential, but the food lacks the love and passion that could transform it into a beloved culinary destination for our community. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly, and the view was pleasant, which is why I’m giving it 2 stars. If they could shift toward making their own dishes instead of relying on pre-packaged ingredients, it could truly become an amazing place. The absence of creativity and passion in their food is quite evident.

This is a lovely little spot. There's a dog named Smokey who joyfully runs around and barks, but soon after, you'll find him sitting at your barstool hoping for some snacks. The kitchen closes at 4 a.m. when we visited on the weekend, and you can enjoy your meal at the bar. Many nearby places either close or offer limited services after the summer, so it's wise to plan ahead.

Don't waste the trip as a pioneer. No, her course has not become better, I and my party have changed the rules so that we can move our ball to the next grass neck, so we are not constantly on dirt or in a gopherhole. Most Fairways look like someone's backyard lawn that has been ignored for years.

Wonderful food, wonderful, friendly service and lovely view too. Was an very enjoyable experience.
