Il Cavallino - PIOLTELLO

Restaurant was recommended by our hotel on a rainy night. We had a beautiful dinner, service was good and almost a bit too efficient. The place was very busy on a Monday night filled with well-dressed locals. Great atmosphere. Expensive.

We were sent to Il Cavallino by a hotel clerk from Starhotels Ritz in Milan. The initial waiter that we got was bored and not interested in us at all. Fortunately the Osso Buco and the Veal that my wife and I ordered was excellent. Another waiter was assigned to us after we did not order wine or two pretty Italian girls came in. He was from the island of Martius? and could not have been nicer. He did all that he could to make our meal memorable, had a great personality, and in my mind should in charge of the arrogant first waiter who took our order.

When it comes to style , nothing bits Milan , but usualy all the trendy places arenot the places you want to enjoy dinner it is all about to see and being seen .. at Cavallino you get it all the crowd is fine , good looking girls , some famos foot ball players . a great covered garden where you can have your dinner and smoke !!! and the food ... is fabulos . i went for the Cianina hamburger the Cianina meat is the best you can find in Italy , the potatos are bakes and tasty .. the pasta was home made and the ffish came out perfect. Zhoran , our waiter was efficient and polite ,the atmosphere is casual , many locals almost no tourists .. the restaurant is open late , you cabn come after 22.00 to have dinner which is not usual for Italy . we love the place !!!

The warm greeting of the cook personally is the beginning of an evening full of joy. including the tasting of a specificity from the cheese. very good quality and taste of all foods. actually specialized in beer there are also very good webshop. good value for money.

A great place with precious and well-run dishes and a great variety of Italian and foreign beers. the staff is kind and the portions are satisfying. especially coffee made with moka. a great place for a non challenging but good quality lunch.
