Friends Restaurant - Pinner

We had made a reservation at this restaurant for a special occasion two months in advance. The day before our reservation, Open Table asked us to confirm our booking, which we did. However, when we arrived at the restaurant on the day of our reservation, we found that it had closed down, ruining our special occasion. Today, Open Table sent me an email thanking me for dining at the restaurant and asking for a review. I checked the Open Table website and saw that the restaurant was no longer available for booking, indicating that Open Table must be aware of its closure. It is disappointing that Open Table did not inform us of this closure and continues to act as if the restaurant is still open. This lack of communication greatly affected our experience and I will be more cautious in relying on Open Table for future bookings.

I was disappointed to find that the restaurant had closed without any notice on this website. It was an embarrassing situation as I was hosting my cousin from America.

This restaurant is closed! Do not book. We turned up and found out the restaurant had been shut for several months.

This restaurant had permanently closed despite taking my booking and confirming it by email. No warning was given. I called several times the day before and on the morning with no answer or recorded message advising the situation. This very much spoilt our special lunch as we had to rush around finding an alternative restaurant at very short notice. Appalling situation

Yesterday I booked a table at Friends Restaurant in Pinner received confirmation only to arrive find it was closed. It has obviously been closed for some time as there is a pile of junk mail on the door mat. Please can you drop this restaurant from your web site save everyone the inconvenience we suffered last night. Also please stop sending me multiple e-mails saying Thank you for dining with us!
