Congas Cuban Cuisine - Pineville

What a groom. We're from Miami and when we moved here, we missed home. We missed food, people and culture. This restaurant has made my missing home disappear. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and attentive and the ambience is excellent. You need the HOUSE MOJITO.... TO THE FOR, and once in your hand sit only at the Domino table and play a game or two. The owners are so inviting. You feel like you and not a restaurant. This is definitely our home away from home....I wish this restaurant has all the success in the world for it an amazing Cuban supplement to Charlotte.

Yesterday there were 6 adults, 2 children. Server was nice, but not as attentive as I was hoping. My wreath was good; but the thicker part was pink, I sent it back. You halved my bill. I asked for a dessert to go, forget it. It wasn't on my check, so I asked her to give it to me for free... and since I wasn't able to clear the check. My black bean soup had no taste, so I mentioned it, and they took that from their bill. She only had a few spoons. Rice beans were also beans. Appetizers were good, my friends said. My bread pudding with Guay was good, but not great. I probably won't come back. There are too many other restaurants to explore.

Amazing food! Great ambience and a walk for a delicious experience! Remember Miami where I lived. Feels good to have this place here!

This place is amazing! I always heard good things about it, so I had to look at it myself. The entire staff was attentive and the atmosphere is great. All are friendly and let you feel very welcome and at home. The owners were also there and made a point to get to the table. It's not just your waitress or waitress, but every single person made sure we had everything we needed. The Cuban sandwich was the best I had in a very long time. Must also try the appetizer sampler! Oh, my! Everything was cooked for perfection. Will this place definitely make one of my spots :
