Miss Saigon Bistro - Pinecrest

As a New Yorker accustomed to excellent Vietnamese cuisine, I didn't expect to discover such a gem while on vacation. Our local friends in Coral Gables recommended this restaurant, and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was exceptionally fresh, packed with flavor, and beautifully presented. The portion sizes were generous—more like family-style. With six of us sharing four dishes, we were all satisfied, and there were plenty of leftovers. Our waiter was fantastic—very attentive, making sure my water glass was never empty, and they prioritized serving the ladies at our table. The owner even stopped by to greet us and inquire about our experience. Overall, it was a delightful meal that surpassed our expectations and truly became the highlight of our trip. We will definitely be returning!

Today, I visited for the second time without checking the hours, only to find out they close from 3 to 5 PM, and I arrived just before 4 PM. Despite this, they graciously allowed me to dine in after I insisted they continue their meal without rushing. Richard even prepared a dish he thought I should try. I had mentioned that my girlfriend would be undergoing surgery and might have difficulty chewing, so he was considerate in choosing something for me. All in all, the food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable—it’s rare to find all of that together. This will definitely be our go-to spot for Asian cuisine. P.S. I believe this is my very first review of a restaurant! I’ll let the quality speak for itself.

This is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in Miami! I used to go there so often that I've practically tried everything on the menu. The family that owns it is wonderful, the service is fantastic, and the food is even better! I usually order a type of soup—my favorites are the southern-style options—and a family-style dish to share with the table. On some days when I'm in the mood to try something new, I even let the owner choose my meal for me. And don't forget to end your meal with a Vietnamese coffee; you’ll thank me later!

I wasn't here so long. We have been opening customers since their original restaurant in Korallen-Gabeln. I must say that this family never disappoints! The service was super fast and super friendly. They changed from the traditional look of the restaurant to a bistro style that is very modern with a Thai twist! As for food as amazing as ever. My children and my husband ordered the combination pad Thai and said that was the best pad Thai they ever had. I ordered my whole time favorite, the Lemongrass chicken with steamed rice and man it was great! Just like I remember. There was so much food that we'd eat lunch today! And the Thai donuts! Could they be better... Fricken amazing!!!! Kudos to you. So happy to see you again. Definitely make it a pile of our dinner choices again.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Been coming here for years. Family run. Food is amazing. Our favorite is the lemongrass chicken. The Vietnamese coffee rocks. The pho is outstanding. On a side note, I left my credit card here. i realized it a week later and I called them and they had it waiting for me. Super good food and really honest hard working people.
