Kennedy Meadows Resort Packstation

This resort was an oasis on our road trip. We lucked out and got the last cabin available. The employees are super nice and accommodating. The layout of the resort is great and they are super dog friendly!!! As far as the cabin goes, it was bigger than expected and clean. The kitchen had some quirks but nothing too hard to manage. Despite the high cost for 1 evening, there was no air conditioning or fans for us to use in the cabin. It was pretty hot until early in the morning.There is zero cell coverage and they do not share the Wi-Fi passwords with guests.If we are driving Sonora Pass again and need a place to stay, we will be back!

We hiked out to Relief Reservoir then enjoyed a late lunch at the restaurant. Great family day hike outing!

The area is nice. But the rooms are very expensive there! And then they charge you a tax on top of it and if you use your credit card they charge you another 4%. So I don't think it's very fair at all. But I still go up there with my family. If you get a cab and make sure you share the cost with other people or you'll pay through the nose! They used to be a lot more friendly there but no I think they're just not happy with their job.

We stopped for a break a beverage on our motorcycle ride over hwy 108.Beautiful rustic cabins, bar,dining horse riding, and fishing next to the Stanislaus river . Did not stay but I will return for an overnight stay.Nearby activities: The fish were biting, according to the fishermen. Restaurant store in the office building.Food drinks: Ice cold beer and mixed drinks in the old school bar.

I had a wonderful time. The lack of cell service was actually a positive aspect. Unfortunately, the water level was a bit high for good fishing, but it's getting better.
