I absolutely loved the four cheese pizza! I would have liked to try more items from the menu, but unfortunately, several dishes we ordered were unavailable.

Road/Food Trippin' — enjoyed delicious pizza and pasta with Kesneil Umali and two friends at the Pizzeria Milano branch in Pinamalayan.

Being a gastronome, it's a relief to find a restaurant in Pinamalayan that serves great tasting pizza and pasta. Tastewise, I'd say it's at par with my fave pizza restos in Manila. Their four-cheese is pretty excellent, I had to go back the next day for more. Pricewise, hmm.. I'd say it's pricy. Php 350 up (each) is rather high for a medium-sized thin crust pizza, or a medium platter of pasta. As a foodie, whenever I assess the reasonableness of the price I pay for food, I consider the other costs that may have been tucked on, like location (in a mall with high rent), comfort (uncramped space), ambiance, service/manpower etc. In the seeming absence of such, I'd be honest, it's quite overpriced. Nevertheless, I'm sure to go back to this place whenever I'm in Pinamalayan if only for the delighful pizza experience, the friendly staff and the gracious owner/chef!
