Tenuta Miranda Agriresort - PIMONTE

We had the suite, it was amazing, super spacious and romantic and the food in the restaurant in the building was incredible. It melted in our mouths, honestly one of the best restaurants on our whole trip.

The backdrop for this hotel has a real wow factor. It’s beautiful. The pool views are fabulous, it has its own vineyard. The restaurant and bedrooms are beautifully decorated. The rooms are perfect and spotless. It truly is beautiful. The couple that we think are the owners were kind and friendly. A wedding was taking place when we arrived and it is a perfect setting for a wedding if you are looking at it for a wedding, the views, food, location, details, will not disappoint. There is also plenty of parking in the grounds of the hotel. We booked a meal on arrival and it was a la carte and catered for us as vegetarians outside of the standard menu. The reasons I have only given 4 stars are, upon arrival we felt really uncomfortable like we had crashed a wedding and it took a while for them to find someone to help us. We found the waiter rude who was the first person to deal with us on arrival and on check out. We asked to buy the wine from the hotels vineyard, we said a similar local red if not available. And instead he jumped straight away to trying to sell us a 76 euro white wine. The food although flavourful and decorative was tiny portions and my partners pasta was cold. We were asked if we wanted more drinks and then told we had to go outside with them when it was freezing and we’d only bought them to sit in the restaurant but it was closing, we felt we should have been informed before bringing our drinks. It felt like we were not welcome and all the waiter wanted to do was upsell and make more money. The breakfast croissants were huge and the best I’ve had in Italy, sadly though the bun I had after it had dog hair on which ruined my experience of breakfast- breakfast was however included in the price and the price was great for such a beautiful hotel. Dinner was not included. My only other point was the reed diffuser on reception was so overly scented it affected my asthma which was such a shame waking up struggling to breathe when we were in such clean mountain air. The hotel was so clean it didn’t need scented products. The hotel is lovely and modern yet in a beautiful setting that you would normally expect a traditional hotel to be in. I would recommend this hotel, it is beautiful.

The chef complimented us with appetizers from heaven, had a great beef and dessert. The wine was amazing too. Thanks to luigi for hosting a lovely evening. Will never forget this dinner, and will come back for sure!

Beautiful location, great wine, kind people and amazing food. Would definitely recommend the tasting menu, 5 courses picked by the chef.

Very friendly People. Super good restaurant. Lovely swimming pool. Warm atmosphere. Big parking. We love it very much.
