The Tilted Ladder - Pilot Mountain

This restaurant was recommended by our Airbnb host, and overall, we had a decent experience. The food quality was just okay; unfortunately, the potatoes and broccoli were served cold. The service was a bit slow as they were understaffed, and our order arrived missing some items. However, the Tilted Shrimp was delightful, and the drinks were quite good. We visited on a Saturday night, and the atmosphere was pleasant, with live music and well-crafted cocktails. The owner and the locals were very friendly, which was exactly what we were hoping for. On a downside, the bathroom was in poor condition due to plumbing issues, which resulted in flooding and sewage overflow. Despite the food's shortcomings, we had a great time overall and would definitely return if we're in the area—just for drinks and good company.

This is a fantastic little restaurant. The staff was kind and welcoming, and the food was outstanding. I really appreciated the variety on the menu. There are also plenty of large-screen TVs, which was ideal for my friends who wanted to catch the game.

We just had our first experience at Tilted Ladder and it was fantastic! We're on a short vacation from Tennessee and wanted to explore some local restaurants. This place was an excellent choice! We started with the fried pickles, which were more than enough for the two of us. For our main course, we had the Tilted Shrimp with sidewinder fries, and it was absolutely delicious! I'm not sure what kind of batter they use for the shrimp, but it was perfect. Our waitress, Marty, was delightful and made our visit even better. Overall, it was definitely a five-star experience!

Great dinner. Sat outside. Nice area! Love my Burrito Bowl and wife loved her salmon. Nice dinner! Good service.

One and done. As miss Twain would say, ?that don?t impress me much.? This is a new joint and let?s start with the food. Attached pic is my Philly cheese steak, that is the sorriest excuse for a Philly I have ever had. I had to ask for the lettuce and tomato (which is fine, I?m not complaining on that) BUT take away the L&T and you basically have bread with a little bit of what you stick in a Philly. Service is hard to complain about in a post covid world because it?s pretty unremarkable in most places and this place is not an exception. Our waitress knew the menu like she knew how to change the oil in a Russian space station. Pathetic experience all around. Giving 2 stars because I?m nice. Being a new Resteraunt they should really try harder to make a positive impression. Again, 2 stars only cause I?m being nice.
