This place is great. super friendly. good quality. excellent dumplings. best in tradition and stokes county. Avoid Chinese from the buffet in Elkin and Mt Airy!! Peaches

Order sweet n sour chicken with fried rice. Taste was decent, but the sweet n sour sauce was super runny and thin and rice a bit sticky. There is no choice in this city.

My review is based on the reaction by the management to a customer seated across from us. The lady had a roach crawl up her arm just as she took a bite of her meal. She complained and the manager allowed her to go without any offer to refund her money. We had also just started eating our $22 worth of food when the roach attacked. That almost resulted in my vomiting up what I had just consumed. Our food also went into the trash...... DISGUSTING

While visiting the area our family was craving Chinese and after reading the reviews we decided to try Taste of China. Taste of China exceeded our expectations in taste, quality and variety of different options. The place can be a little difficult to find the first time with Google maps but once inside we could tell it was definitely a favorite with the locals and did a huge takeout business. We had the sweet sour chicken, vegetable fried rice, hot sour soup, egg rolls and spring rolls all which were excellent. The food was made fresh when ordered and the fried rice was even moist the next day warmed up for lunch because they give you huge portions you won’t be disappointed.
