Contribuiți la feedbackIn late August, my group and I made the quick trip from Regina to Pilot Butte with high hopes of enjoying lunch at the Blue Rooster Café. A couple of people in our group had eaten there before and recommended it. Unfortunately, we were let down when we arrived. The café appeared closed, with no cars in the parking lot and a sign on the window. There was no mention of the closure on their website, so we assumed it was temporary and found another place to eat. Later, I discovered on their Facebook page (linked at the bottom of their website) that the Café had actually closed for good at the end of July after five years in business. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Café had reopened in September under new ownership and with new hours. I recommend checking their Facebook page for daily specials if you plan on visiting.
Amazing food. The lunch we had, including a black bean burger, smashed potatoes, and coleslaw, was exceptional. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere is charming and comfortable.
I visited this cafe based on a family member's recommendation, and I'm so grateful we did. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and excellent cafe mocha coffee. The atmosphere was cozy and we didn't feel rushed, allowing us to relax, chat, and catch up with family. It was a lovely way to start the day. If I lived nearby, I would definitely be a regular visitor to this cafe.
If you aren’t captivated by the amazing decor and art on display, you will be by the very reasonably priced burgers which are substantial and wonderful.
I don't live in Pilot Butte but I've been to the Blue Rooster Cafe twice for their activities. First for a musician who was playing one night and second for a bracelet making event. Each time the vibe was enjoyable, food was delicious, and coffee was perfectly made. I'll be back and would recommend joining the fun if you can.
