Fall Creek Falls - Pikeville

Apprx one hour from the house Food, service and food were excellent chicken ornaments were excellent. Rolls were fresh and really good.

It took today a trip to the fall creek if restaurant to see some of the colors on the way and to eat lunch in the new lodge and restaurant. When I told the maitri de that there were four of us, she asked if I could give her 20 minutes. I was not told what the other choice was. but I thought it was to go back where we came from. we went out and waited 30 minutes, then were called to sit. there were a lot of people waiting and several open stands and tables. we got menus and within 15 minutes a drink order was taken at which time we ordered a starter. when she returned her, we told her we were going on and we were going to put our order. what we did. we enjoyed some fried dill pickles, coffee and water and have given our order when the appetizer was brought to our table, we suspect that there is not too awful long before our meal arrived. an hour and a half later our food arrived. a dame ordered chili and it was suppe, very thin suppe, not what any boil would call chili. two of us ordered the smashed hew and thankfully we got a very big steak knife, otherwise we could not have cut it. it was overcooked, and dry as if it had a past. my sweet were good, but the rest of it I can't say good about it. it was a beautiful ride, and I remember, in years passed eating was excellent and the staff was more friendly. I'm sorry to give such a bad review, but I can't justify a better one.

A great experience... was said it was only 30 minutes waiting. ended over an hour waiting. Many open tables so not sure what the problem was. As soon as we finally sit, we were told that they were from the fish and chips. It was a Friday night and there was a big event planned in the park for Saturday, so the hotel was packed. How do you run from a menu item on a Friday night? Don't go back. Sad, because the renovation and park is beautiful... You should just go back to the buffet style. Whoever runs the restaurant cannot plan and handle it

We had the worst time in the restaurant where we tried 2 hours to suck lunch service and price suck for what we got the old restaurant 2 to 1 better then this 109.00 for what we got and the host would really suck no one would ask to go there and eat now our cabin was good, but this restaurant sucking so that I gave one the man took our order and said the lady who would take care of her later min. We have our food in stages it was bad, but have no way, but on you want a bad restaurant with bad service and food and cost way to much Fall Creek Falls restaurant is your place. And they add a tip for you that really sucks because no one has come to us.

We were excited to try the new restaurant but ended up being extremely disappointed. It was very low quality cafeteria food at best.
