Corky's Ribs Bbq - Pigeon Forge

This was the best meal I had during my four-day, five-night stay in Pigeon Forge. We decided to use GrubHub to have the food delivered to our condo since we were feeling tired. Everything we ordered was delicious. I had the dry rub ribs and brisket, with barbecue sauce on the side, along with BBQ baked beans and corn.

The side dishes were a bit on the pricey side, and some were small portions. For example, the corn on the cob was just a quarter piece, while the baked beans were served in a side dish and were fantastic! However, the corn was overcooked, soft, and very bright yellow. The coleslaw was excellent as well! My kids enjoyed their meals; the macaroni and cheese was creamy and well-liked by most—except for our 3-year-old. The restaurant wasn’t too loud, and there was pleasant background music playing. They also offered a great takeout option that seemed reasonably priced. We noticed quite a few takeout orders as we arrived. Overall, I was glad we chose this place for a family outing instead of the other options we considered.

I found some items on the menu, particularly the side dishes, to be quite overpriced. Overall, the food was bland, and I was surprised to see $4 for a side of canned beans. The ribs were lacking in flavor, and the bar selection was limited. The service was slow and only just acceptable. It felt like a gimmick aimed at new customers without any genuine effort to attract repeat visitors.

If you've had real Texas bbq, you'll need it skip this place. They have a big beautiful building and nice staff but the food was just ok... although the Turkey had a nice flavor, it was extremely dry. The pulled pork was ok as was the brisket. My daughter thought the ribs didn't have enough sauce! I did like the jalapeño hush puppies! I am rating it a 3 but in all honesty it's more of a 2.5! Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!!

Great food, great service. We first ate here more than 20 years ago and are always glad to see it is still as good as the food was the first time we ate here. We had the half rack of ribs, muddy .. this is a mix of dry and wet rub and perfect mix of the two. And we had the smoked sausage, a nice mild sausage with a sweet bbq sauce over it. Both were served with baked beans and coleslaw. We also had an order of Jalapeno hush puppies and fried okra. Both are a definite yes!! Very good, just enough crisp to them both. Service was great as always.
