La Cantina Dell'orso - Pietracamela

After many years of coming to Prati di Tivo there is at last a place that matches the marvels of this area. The restuarant itself is so cozy and the interior decor is tasteful, interesting and has a really welcoming feel. Valeria the owner gave us a warm welcome and even though we were the only ones there, it didn't feel empty. She prepared each dish herself; a super plate of mixed local salumi and cheeses with the best bruschetta we've had in a long time. The fagioli with porcini was lovely (could have been just a little hotter) and the pasta dish excellent. Polished of with gelato affogato and a digestivo. They also have a great selection of bottled wines, but we chose the house wine in a caraffe, which was superb. We'll be back for sure

I've never been able to eat here for so many reasons. nice place, great service and friendly and especially eat good quality. average prices. to come back absolutely. P.S. does not accept reservations, who arrives sits first.
