Taste Of Thai - Pietermaritzburg

A unique culinary experience. The venue is beautiful and you really feel the Thai experience. The food was freshly made with real vegetables and meat. Extremely delicious. Yummy

I decided that as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend, I would book both of us for a few massages in the Taste of Thai, and that turned out to be an amazing choice. The decor and ambience there was amazing, it made the whole experience so much more relaxed. When we arrived, the owner took the time to explain everything to us and to show us everything that was included in this special. After that we went for the massage that was a 60 minutes full body massage done in traditional Thai style. Our therapists did an amazing job, and this massage was one of the best I ever had! My girlfriend is Swedish, and so Swedish massages are much easier than Thai massages, but she also loved them! Then we had a lunch that was really delicious. The dishes were all prepared in Thai style and were extremely tasty. We also received these amazing Thai drinks to go with the meal, which was the first time that either of us had tried them, but we will definitely have them again! Overall, this was an amazing experience, and we will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful new year dinner at this amazing restaurant and I can honestly say it was one of the best restaurant experiences I ever had. (Including some Michelin Star spots. It is very rare you can say that you had a perfect culinary experience. Thank you to the staff. This restaurant is a jewel.

Great food and great service. Found it nice that there weren't any people asking how our food was and if we were okay every 2 minutes. Calming, the way the restaurant was decorated was absolutely gorgeous. It's a nice place to go if you enjoy Asian cuisine and Thai food. I went with my aunt and she loved it. If we see green thai curry on the menu, we just have to order it. Five stars.

Went back to Taste of Thai last night after at least 6 years...and its just as lovely as I remember it. Stunning decor and delicious food.Vegetarian options galore.And the young man who served us was so charming. (My husband's only gripe was that the portion of rice with his green curry was tiny)
