Steak 'n Shake - Pickerington

The milkshake was cold but had a chunky texture and too much syrup mixed in. The chicken tenders, however, were fresh and delicious. The hot dog was tasty, but it ended up soggy due to the excess ketchup and mustard on the bun.

The food here is consistently fantastic, but my cheeseburger didn't quite hit the mark this time. It felt a bit stale, and the patties were quite small.

"The photo was taken after I tested the bun for its hardness (not softness). The fries were soggy and cold, but that’s not a huge issue since I can just use an air fryer. The milkshake only had maybe one Butterfinger piece in it and was mostly vanilla, but it was still enjoyable. However, the cup wasn’t filled to the company’s standards, and there were no straws for any of the three drinks. Even though it was the Fourth of July and the store was likely busy and understaffed, I appreciate the classic Steak 'n Shake flavor more than the appearance and small issues that should really be standard. I might just consider going to McDonald's next time."

Everything was terrible...top off the shake...fries undercooked/not cooked at all... burger wasn't completely wrapped

This is a new experience since Steak and Shake has transitioned to a contactless system. Customers now place their orders at a kiosk and, once the food is ready, they are called by their name or order number. It’s actually a pretty efficient way to order; my husband took just 5 minutes to order food for three, and it was ready in 7 minutes. You also have to take care of your own trash, as there are no reusable dishes provided.
